Channel dug into tunnel floor

It was at this point we decided that wellies were needed. We had circumvented loads of flooded tunnels but eventually had to admit that to get further without wet feet we would have to return again better prepeared. We estimated that we had gone in around 650mtrs and think we weren't far short of the brick tower vent. We only came across one major roof collapse and managed to get around that via other tunnels. Hobnail boot marks were everywhere this far in and although we saw one horseshoe which was hanging from a roof support, no hoof prints were seen. Another venture in the next week or so is likely (complete with wellies). It was interesting to see the rough dug water channel, obviously dug after the work in this area was finished.

Hi Rustydog

Thanks for uploading the photos and the trip report

I've corrected the images now. What you'd done was put img /img in square brackets around the address of the web page with the photo on - the photo itself being just 1 of many bits of info on the page so the forum doesn't know to display the photo.

The easiest way of showing and linking photos in the forum is simply to copy and paste the line of code shown under each photo, e.g. on this page:

Scroll down until you see the heading Display in a Forum Message and then copy and paste one of the lines of code into your message - job done
