When I was 17 and worked at Babbington in the 60s I worked.

Dear Mick, thats brill πŸ™‚ , did they ever tell you much about these OLD pits as would be fascinated by any anecdotes of that area... from what I gathered the owners were pretty shrewd and that life was damn hard on these smaller mines.
