Thats fine
As far as I am aware there were always 3 shafts, with them being deepen & widened during the redevelopment programme in 1950/ 60's.
When I was there the 3 "sections" were No1 pit & No2 pit working off the deeper 7960 level, with No3 pit working off 9000 level. The No1 shaft served both levels & was upcast, with other 2 shafts being downcast. With the connection to Hem Heath in 1980's all coal drawing ceased, apart from a spell of winding dirt from the 7960 extension crut. Eventually with the creation of Trentham Colliery, Florence was technically renamed Trentham East, but myself & many others still called it Florence (much to annoyance of the management specially when filling in reports  )
