Hi. If you find yourself in Scotland there is gold to be found at and around Wanlockhead, Dumfries and Galloway. A licence is needed which can be purchased at the Museum of Lead Mining in the village of Wanlockhead. Jeremy

Strath of Kildonan also allows permit-access panning, if you fancy a look up Caithness way.

Probably more cost-effective to mine at home for scrap gold - melt down a load of old ink cartridges, sim cards, etc.
