Hello Everyone

I have subscribed to British Newspapers online, and am willing to help anyone with research.

If you can give names, dates (approx' if not known) and name of mine, quarry etc, or area that it was in, or near I'll look to see what I can come up with.

Please don't expect me to copy out all the newspaper articles, especially if there's many of them, but am willing to type out a few.

Please PM me with info you want researched... thank you

Regards Tin Miner

It's a great resource - my annual sub is just expiring. I will not renew immediately, but will do at some time. I found lots of reports of accidents, crownholes, adverts, and lots more, just in the South East. I won't renew yet as I won't have the time to get the most out of my sub, and I am waiting for more newspapers to be scanned. It's a bit like the NLS map viewer, where we are waiting for the large scale plans for the remaining big mining regions of England to appear.

Disclaimer: Mine exploring can be quite dangerous, but then again it can be alright, it all depends on the weather. Please read the proper disclaimer.
