I'm a folksinger Coventry born and bred, and I have composed a song about the closure of Daw Mill under the title 'the Last Warwickshire Miner'. I'd like to make it a bit more accurate, so I'd like to know who the last man out was, and if I may use his name in the song. I can use the old device of calling him 'Johnny Miner' if not. At the moment the song is just written in the first person, as if I was the last Warwickshire miner. I'd be happy to share the lyrics with anyone interested, I've already sung it in New Zealand and Scotland, to approval. many thanks, Pete
