I notice there are frequent references to visits to metal and stone mines in Scotland. My club, the Grampian Speleological Group, based in Edinburgh, has been exploring and documenting sites for over 50 years, and members have a very extensive knowledge of them - in addition to natural caves. Our database holds info on nearly 4,000 underground sites in Scotland. Interested parties can get in touch via our website or myself.
