The middle, where the 80 foot shaft is.

Deduct a bit for the shite that has now fallen down it.

The other day, it struck me that it is probably quite sensible to strap a plank to my back when I'm poking around undergrowth looking for holes.

This story is rather amusing, but it could have been mega serious!

Not really. Its happened many times before and people who should know better still put themselves at risk.

The rig has now been lifted out and the hole "temporarily filled" - probably while a dozen "experts" spend the next few weeks scratching their ***** and wondering what to do next. Meanwhile the poor b*****s living beside it were given 3 hours yesterday afternoon to get their kit out and told they won't be home for Christmas!

Next act of the farce commences shortly, local audiences are steady.

Disclaimer: Mine exploring can be quite dangerous, but then again it can be alright, it all depends on the weather. Please read the proper disclaimer.
