Any idea's where the part can be got for an ok price as im expecting protector will rinse me for it or does anybody have any in personal parts dump

Parts look pricey from Protector Co at £10 for a flint!

Do you have an image of the required parts?

the required part is in parts. but its on the magnetic lock its the bolt that holds the whole assembly in place and fits onto bottom of fuel filler/lock.

It would appear my parts list does not show sufficient detail to see what could be machined out of another type of bolt.

An Ebay image set only shows what appears to be a much solder repaired unit.

looking at it the lock was lubricated by the fuel so the good few years of non use its had aka since it left the factory and the sheer amount of dust damp and brasso caused the fault.
the lamp was mint till i slipped on the gob yesterday and banged it ..;(
