Would anyone know the times of manufacture of the Premier Cap Lamp models? There are several models of cap lamp, but I can't find when each one started and stopped manufacturing. I have some in my collection, but I can't find the manufacturer's catalogs. Would anyone know where I can find the catalogs on the web? Thanks!

There has been an inquiry for parts on UKC, so still some interest.

Anyway, Caving Supplies took them over some time ago and still list and sell parts. They may have an old catalogue or two, you could try emailing them.

Another try would be 'mole' AKA John Hine, will PM you his email

That was useful, it reminded me to get some new bits to re-condition my 1970 Premier lamp.

I had a Premier caplamp explode in Masson once, in about 1972,
edit; well not exactly explode, more became engulfed in exciting flames when I bent over and somehow the acetylen came up into the water chamber, popped the filler cap off and wenr fzzzzzz when the air/acetylene mixture hit the flame on the front.
