John, I am still doing it on my own!

I worked 4 weekends, Sat and Sun, 8 hours a day, up and down a ladder with concrete and rocks, and 72 in January.

On thread, well sort of, my Dragon 2 cell battery did the 2 days each time, and still burned bright at the end, all 180 grams of it.

Now here is something to think on, I am testing a new high discharge version of my 4 cell pack, weight 300 grams.
Did I say high discharge, safe for 40 amps, but electronically governed down to 10. The idea is to power the SAR with a helmet pack and not needing to wear a neck brace.

The first every LED lamp I bought about 5 years ago was a Wisdom lamp, although I don't use the headlamp anymore as there are things out there a lot more powerful. I still use the original batteries and battery box on a Omni Duo conversion in a Oldham headset.

I still have the original headset and it still works even after 5 years.

The only thing I don't like about Wisdom is either their Rep or a Bot keeps joining Facebook groups and advertising their products without permission.

I know what you mean, I used to get several emails a day from them at one point!

But, once you're working with them they are so helpful and polite. Well impressed both with the service and the product.

(Dropped for more than 20 times from 6-feet-height without any damage)

(Continues)

How excellent mining lamp!!! only 169g, do you want to test? Kind reply soon, we are glad to send you the sample.

Thank you very much for your time and wish you all success!

Looking forward to hear from you!

Best regards

END OF EMAIL

This is the problem for anyone retailing them, someone else starts and undercuts your price etc.
No worries from me though, I have enough on my plate with my own lamps.

Nitecore have a miners cap lamp that is very similar and Atex rated, they were handing them out in February for testing, I wonder if the companies are related.

Re. Nitecore, no not related to Wisdom and I'd want to see the original of that ATEX cert before passing comment.

Wisdom do ATEX versions (although not currently M designated for mining) of the KL range and the Cordless 3A. And I have the paperwork for that

On names - I did a bit of work in Singapore a few years back and practically everyone had an English first name and an Asian surname. All the people I met there, and those I deal with at Wisdom are fantastic to deal with, so polite and helpful.

I find the Chinese pleasant and easy to deal with.
