Is anybody able to recommend a decent AAA charger? Primarily for non-underground use with a small Black Diamond headltorch.

My knowledge of electronics is primitive at best but if such a thing is possible, duration would be substantially more desirable than power. Likewise price too, although I'm very keen on the practical (& greeny, hippy type) advantages of rechargables, it's hard to justify paying seventy quid for a charger when the local pound shop sell four Duracells for... a pound.

Eneloops seem to be the battery of choice but flicking around the 10 billion or so internet pages on the subject is doing little more than confusing matters...

Thanks! :flowers:

Try these people

www.fasttech,com

I bought a load of BTY 3000 mAh, they will have suitable chargers.

A Fasttech tip (I use them a lot) - if it says "styled", it is a "Clone". If it says Authentic, it will be.

Nitecore do good chargers, look around £20 online.

I like Sanyo Eneloops, use them for all sorts. Got them - along with the Sanyo AA/AAA charger - from the Wizard Batteries ebay shop. Various combinations of charger/batteries available.

Seem reliable, genuine etc.

The Eneloops are probably the best rechargeables you're going to easily find. Particularly good at holding their charge when left unattended for several months.
