Just bought one of these and it seems pretty good.
It takes 3 AAA batteries (comes with Energisers) and claims they'll last 4 hours at full power or 25 hours on "eco mode".
Seems quite well put together, though I noticed that the 'o' ring is damaged so I'll try not to drop it into a puddle until I've replaced it.
Beam looks nice and even and can be focused.
On/off button in the base is recessed so hard to switch on accidentally.
Heavy: 200g with batteries.
Comes with a pouch to fix to your belt, but it doesn't close securely enough to be trusted.
I'll take it down Cwmorthin tomorrow and see how it behaves.

It performed well in Cwmorthin, bright enough for me to see the top of the highest chambers. My only criticism is that the focus ring is not very prominent so it's a bit fiddly to go from wide to narrow in a hurry. I might try sticking a rubber grip around the focus ring to improve this.
But for a tenner, I'm more than happy with it.

Hats off to you guys for all the good work you've been doing. The little surprise in the compressor chamber is a corker! :thumbsup:
