I think they also have a big stock centre in the US but they are based in China as most stock is shipped from Hong Kong. The chinese do love there USD

A lot of my recent orders have come from there, 3-5days to arrive, compared to ~1 month for the US based stuff. Nothing not to like at those prices. I can drop a bloody fortune on lamp-building bits there.

when you order it from the Chinese warehouse do you get any taxes when its sent to the UK because i don't want to end up paying more than it says

I think it's luck of the draw. The smaller the package, the less likely it is. I've never been hit, but someone who ordered a full bike light system has.

Agreed, you might get away without paying them, you might not. Although I believe HMRC is getting more enthusiastic about generating revenue from import duty 😞
