Have been playing with a few different LED's for photography lights after seeing MrMikes excellent recent construction.

Have made one P7 unit with a straight on off 2800mA driver board running at 7.4v

Have also knocked one up with some R5's with one off driver boards kindly provided by mr Speedy running at 3.7v :)

All just basic knock ups on pieces of scr*p ally at the moment to test light spill and then will have to think about bettwe housings

Did a few tests with them. All done at 1/2 second at F7.1 ISO 100

Firstly no light

Is that the little beauty we saw at Alderley Edge last weekend? Was well impressed with it - really nice even light :thumbsup:

Its one of them, I have doubled up the R5's and mounted them properly and they are really effective 🙂 Think its time for a trip underground to test them now :thumbup:
