Indeed - I have!
It's rather good*... the spot is focused and has a very impressive throw - although the spread is not very wide.
It's very handy in big, big chambers and works nicely for lighting photographs, but is a bit bright for lighting stuff close-up and would need a diffuser.
Although there were some concerns about the size of the head, it doesn't seem to be particularly vulnerable - and anyway, it has to be that big in order to accommodate the reflector!
I've had it underground twice so far, so I'll put up a proper review soon. I'd also like to compare it to some of the cheaper alternatives that use the same emitter, but my gut feeling is that this is a lot brighter and better made.
The 8 AA aspect seems to divide opinion, but I've got 8 AA rechargables and a charger that sorts 4 AAs in under an hour, so it's not an issue in my book.
Overall, a good bit of kit :)
