I recently photographed a wagon at Lea Bailey Gold Mine (on their open day in September).

The people at Lea Bailey have no information of its' origin, or even what industy it originated from.
It has obviously had two "lives" and is now on it's third at Lea Bailey.
Originally it had side, top hinged, doors two on each side. Subsequently these were welded shut and lifting eyes "rough cut" into the top near each corner. I assume these two operations were carried out at the same time.
Has anyone any idea what industry, or better still abn actual location, where this wagon could have worked in it's original figuration?
