Final call for the 2007 photo comp, entries must be in by midnight Sunday.

I have to admit I've been very pleased with the response, and well impressed with the standard of the entries :thumbsup:

Will definitely be doing this next year 🙂 and make it an annual thing.

Only two days left :)

Been very pleased with the entries, and we will definitely be running the photo competition each year. Subject for 2008 will be announced in good time for the competition but next year's will be just for underground photographs.

Discussed with Vanoord a couple of nights back and we're going to do monthly spot competitions for the best photo uploaded in a month (which means I need to add a facility to view all photos uploaded in the past month ;() with a monthly Mars Bar prize :lol: This monthly competition will just be for a bit of fun, but the annual one I hope will always attract a lot of interest with good prizes and coverage for winners and entrants alike.

(and Clunk, I've not forgotten about the Wagon Wheel :))

I am having extreme difficulty in finding out how to post my entries tothe photo competition. I have uploaded my three images to my personal album but do not know how to create a new topic in the 2007 aditnow photo competition forum and embed my three images in the post. I've followed various links to see if they would explain how to do this but have, so far, had no success. I know I have left this to the last minute but didn't think I would find this problem. I hope you will be able to help me in time for the deadline tonight.

Click new topic. In the subject box type ...
'competition entry - Arabrab'
In the big box, Paste the clickable links from under each of your photo's.
Simon is a decent enough chap. If you cant figure it out, he may do it for you.

You may need to add a new mine if your particular mine is not already on here and upload the pictures on there. If it exists, then upload your pictures to that location. Then you can have a link to post on your competition entry. I don't think it will work if you upload them to your personal album.

I uploaded mine to my personal album then copied and pasted the links given under each photo into a new post topic under Photo Comp 2007. It worked for me.

Ok i have done your entry for you, if your not happy with it - appologies! you can delete it and start again.
If you wish to add some text to your entry, simply click the 'edit' button and type away.... good luck, great photo's

The fat lady has sung; the competion has closed and all the threads have been locked!

Looking through, there are a lot of very good photos and it's going to be difficult choosing. We'll judge them over the next few days and post the result up here 🙂
