Now the calendar is about ready to go off to print it's time we had the discuss about where the money has gone to.

It would be nice if we could support - as previous years - a preservation or history group and a CRO. Unless there's an over-riding single cause that needs funds.

Over to you :)

(next post I'll put up a list of where we've raised money for in previous years)

I will go with Goodluck Mine.

Properly constituted little club, take a look

These small associations that work away quietly deserve support.

Don't know much about the others being suggested.
"PDHMS, WMRG, DCC, Welsh Mines Society, Northern Mines Research Group, Nenthead Mines Society and General Forum Gobshite!"

Thanks everybody for the votes.

The overall winner was Goodluck Mine Preservation Club with Gloucestershire Cave Rescue Group being the highest voted CRO.

Shall we go with that then?

The thread has been running for nearly three weeks so it's time it was called - a few years ago there'd have been several pages of votes!

Interesting, it seems everyone wants the calendar, but just a few want a say in where the money goes
