A bit unlikely I know... but I don't suppose anybody has a pair Oldham charger frames kicking about?

These are the uprights that can be used to assemble between 1 and 6 of the 10-type chargers into a free-standing unit.

I'm trying to source a pair as a favour for somebody.

Are the required parts anything like the old NCB hardwood units?

Thanks for the reply.

Sadly no, they are the modern steel uprights as shown on this page:

And yes that price is correct. And it's discounted. And buys just one end. And they're not in stock at the moment.

I'm looking at getting them made, but thought if anybody had some to sell that it would save a lot of work!

To paraphrase Blackadder, the words I am looking for rhyme with clucking bell. I could understand that price for the bits you connect the lamps to, in fact that would be quite cheap compared with making them yourself. But for just the uprights that is an outrageous price.

Expensive bit of kit! Perhaps two bits of suitable width cable tray might be an easier construction option.

Mobile storage racks from surplus or salvage stores such as MacSalvors at Redruth.
Some Internet browsing would turn up something.

Disagree about criticism of price, you buy anything like that new and of industrial standard and that is the price bracket you are in.

Or give Harworth Estates a bell before they really start tearing into Kellingley?

It looks pretty simple to construct to me. I'd have thought any local fabrication shop would do them for a lot less (I'd have thought about £100 a pair). If not look for unistrut on E-Bay.

Bit late for that, the lamps went from there in the summer! Ended up down in Cornwall funnily enough

Your local friendly branch of TLC-Direct (the electrical wholesaler) sell a Unistrut-compatible system and it's remarkably cheap. If there's a branch near you, there'll be no carriage charges. (Usual disclaimer)
