Bit of guesswork - the site is just off Schofield Hall Road
http://nmrs.org.uk/mines/coal/lancashire/oldham/schofield.html Schofield Hall Colliery (1854-1901)
This small drift into the Lower Mountain Mine was worked intermittently between 1854 and 1901. James Fielding & John Whittles were working it in 1854, but that changed to Henry & Lawrence Newell from 1855 to 1860. It was then closed until 1885, when Elijah Chadwick worked it for a short time. It was said to be reopening in 1890 when James Howard took over. It was discontinued again in 1895, but reopened the following year until December 18th 1901, when it closed.
Coke ovens?
Breast-eye? (drift)
I think this colliery has been photographed and posted on the web by a couple of contributors to AN.
