A couple of people have asked about a calendar reprint.

As pervious years I'll need 10 confirmed orders for a reprint to be viable.

If you'd like to order a copy please reply below with your username, the quantity you'd like and please PayPal the payment of £16.75 per calendar to [email protected]

If I can't get to 10 confirmed and PAID pre-orders I will of course refund everybody in full on the 5th December.

Sorry for asking for payment in advance folks. I know 99% of people always pay the moment they're asked; but for the last two years I've spent an inordinate amount of time chasing up payments for pre-ordered reprint calendars to one or two who either forgot, refused to reply or said they'd changed their minds >:(

I'll keep this thread running until the 4th December (a week this Friday) then if we're at 10 I'll order the reprint.

Finally got my copy today. Had to collect it from the sorting office. It would have been 2 days earlier if the postman had not arrived when I was sitting on the loo. Such is life...

Anyway it was well worth the wait! And interesting to see that German slate mines look just like British slate mines. Until now, I had never thought that there was slate in Germany.

The manganese mine in Tuscany looks extremely interesting.

This particular one should look just like Wales as they bought and copied a lot of technology from there.
There was plenty of slate in Germany. At least three mines are still producing slate.

Got mine - usual fantastic quality. Thanks for going the extra mile for all us late comers ;-)

Cheers, Ash
