Just noticed the new upload to Gollconda:

is this the same one as:

http://www.aditnow.co.uk/Mines/Golconda-Mixed-Mine_3406/

The winch and air bottles make me think it is the same one?

Yes it is the same one, just checked my trip photos.

Even though the spelling is wrong (which I correct easily) can you add any more photos to this one please?

The reason being that one has a document uploaded which I can't shift easily; so that one will be the one that stays - the other will be deleted when I've shifted everything).

Missed this one, yes the correct spelling is Golconda not Gollconda, as for the name originally this used to be a lead mine, but for the end of it's life it was mined for Baryte only. Has far as I am aware it was never called a mixed metal mine, or mixed mine.

Steve, mixed mine is just the general description if a mine was mined for more than one ore over the years. It's just to classify it within AN.

Daggers, could you please reduce your avatar photo down to 100 x 100 pixels, it's knackering the page rendering on any thread you've posted in on all common desktop browsers....

Simon - might it be worth adding a bit of validation code to the My Aditnow page to reject avatar photos larger than the specified maximum, or would it be easier to stop overflow on thread pages?

I've fixed Steve's avatar size now.

I'm re-writing the whole user registration, log in, my account etc. section of the site at the moment. And it will address the avatar size issue that crops up from time to time. It's a lot of work though, it'll mean modifications to every single page in the site. So please don't expect it overnight...

I know Simon as sorted this out now but I have just checked my avatar and it measure 100x 83 so I don't know why it was knackering the page up.

The avatar that was appearing on the page yesterday was significantly larger than that, from recollection it was around 900 by 700. Did you perchance upload the original photo as avatar? Easily done if they're in the same folder with similar names....:flowers:

It's all sorted.

I grabbed the original big image off the server, resized it and re-uploaded it. @Daggers - don't worry about it. Easily done.

@exspelio - if you click on the link you will find I renamed Gollconda to Golconda in all places (mine, description, albums, album descriptions). I have corrected the spelling that link now as well.
