Photos!
Can people please read and try to understand the following, pretty please.
A lot of software, possibly supplied with digital cameras, appears to 'automatically' right photos for viewing. So if the picture is taken upright it will view upright. Unfortunately its not upright so if uploaded to a website or given to someone burned onto a disk it will be on its side.
You don't have to install the software supplied with the camera whatever the manual says. Unless you use RAW or whatever they are jpegs, your camera has a memory chip and the pictures on it can be viewed and copied over using Windows Explorer. If you don't install the supplied software you wont get the unwanted free trials, personal information gathering, and whatever else they force up you as well.
Now pay attention children. Windows has a Photo Viewer and a picture may well open by just clicking on the file if its a jpeg. At the bottom on the right are little circle arrows that will turn a picture to right position, and when you close it, it is saved automatically. Isn't that clever?
