That's how Dad annotated it and it does look like the bridge, the 1890 OS map is a little ambiguous but does seem to show a drainage line roughly where the adit mouth is. Dad and Harry were also at the coalmine at the same time.
The site looks like it's been re-planted since.

Looks like brickwork at the entrance so quite late? late 19th/early 20th C.
does this look at all familiar.
The area around the bridge seem to be quite a complex of mines.
