I thought all sink hole stories were meant to come from the Daily Wail? Or is that scare stories about about those pesky Lithuanians feasting upon honest British cormorants? I can never remember the difference... 😞

I'm feeling in a pedantic mood so if the collapse is due to old salt/halide workings below, shouldn't it be described as a crown hole? :devil:

The photos make the hole look larger than it is, since all those building are not large houses, but typical smallholding summer houses. Think footpaths and sheds, not streets and houses.
