Apologies...it seems that some kind of virus has infected my e-mail account and is sending spam "weight loss" e-mails to a few people.....sorry Vanood :lol:
Nothing to do with me sorry....I think its fixed now though! :thumbup:

I have had two emails last week from a contact in my email list, they said -

We went on holiday to xxx but when we arrived we were mugged ! the police did not help, now we are in xxx without any help or contacts, our holiday is now ended.

No call for help, it just wants a reply to add my email address to the list of emails they can use to trawl for usefull numbers and/or bank transactions.

As old as email itself that one. People still fall for it though, which knocks down my estimation in humanity a little every time I hear about it.

Too right.

If my bank or card company ring me up I just tell them I'll ring back....and use the number on the statement.

Someone purporting to be from my bank rang me up and asked me to confirm my log in password, my answer included a few adjectives.

I get emails asking me to confirm my log in password for Paypal, banks with whom I dont hold an account, and some others.
Also emails with attachments from airlines who claim I bought a ticket, the Inland Revenue, UPS, PayPal,....... and Oh yes, eastern european ladies hinting at free sex, mmm, well I never did ever pay for it. Ummm
