Hi Graham,

is there any reason why you (and of course only you) cannot make photocopies and sell them for,say, £10.00 a pop?

I certainly would be happy to buy, even if unbound.
Been injured while at work and are not to blame?

Sellers often do that - you regularly see the same item at various prices. Some people search more thoroughly than others so end up paying the higher price... eBay psychology!

The two folding maps might be tricky, and now I've retired I don't have "free" access to a photocopier.

Alas I don't even have a complete copy of the first edition myself - it was savagely dismantled in producing the masters for the second.

Speaking of which, it has better information than the first, and you should still be able to pick up a copy somewhere.... but watch this space as there seem to be plans afoot.

Trouble with a PDF is that it can be passed on without permission, rather negating any incentive for the publisher/author to release it that way!

A revised version with new photographs would be of interest; or indeed something with a larger number of photographs.


Mustn't ask about the Oakeley book(s)... :angel:

It's actually very easy to make it far more difficult to copy a PDF. Granted, your more technically adept people can get around it, but it will certainly deter "causal" copying.
