Theres a chapter (5 pages) in "Swaledale, Its Mines and Smeltmills" by Mike Gill.

Couple of pages in 'The Lead Industry of Wensleydale and Swaledale Vol 1 The Mines' by Arthur Raistrick.

One of the incidents was in 1751 as you probably already know.

Parkes Level drained Beldi Hill but also drained Swinnergill, however Swinnergills owners refused to pay any of the £300 cost.

When the area was declared worked out, the owners of Beldi Hill blocked the level mouth and turned water into a shaft, flooding Swinnergill.

Just remembered theres an extensive article in British Mining No.92 about it.
