Thanks for the replies so far, the reason I asked was that I used to operate one of these (or something very very similar) a long time ago, the picture rung a bell with me, It's number one in the running so far although the one I used was red/orange in colour.
Yes, bloody noisy indeed, especially pre ear muff days.

I used to use a single boom version, similar, we used to call it a Simba.

Just to add from memory, it was a "t" frame and had three wheels, two up front, the other at the back.
I seem to remember it would take a 10 or 12 ft steel, it worked very well, it was called a wagon drill in the mine I was at.

Photo taken in 1986 by Brakeman, on the Sallet Hole users album,( I hope he don't mind me using it, but it was the time I was using the damn thing!) as I recall,this was the white one, the yellow one had a cover for the controls, giving a bit more protection for the driller!
