1960s showing The engine works in full swing, note the Dolly Headframe in the background, This was once a most important site for The NCB, a very busy area with trains running with Trucks from Herrington to Lambton Coke Works, But also the site was also Busy making whatever The working Mines needed, They also cut up many Steam Engines at the time of the picture.
