Williams Shaft, surprisingly is open at this level, upwards to an indeterminate height, and down for about 12 feet. It passes through a chamber which possibly served as a landing for kibbles, no sign of any pitwork etc in the shaft but the right hand wall has a peg (centre right)which may have once provided attachment for arising main. Explorers should be aware that this can only be reached by a long crawl over the backfill which becomes tight towards the end, regardless of my digging it out as much as possible.
