Wheelpit for backshot wheel

Constructed at the lower part of the site so as to utilise water from the dressing floors. It drove flat rods that operated the pumps in Swan's Shaft 500 yards away. The lead from this mine had an unusually high silver content, reaching 12 oz per ton of ore. The mine closed 1902 when it was flooded out.
