Warrego - 12 level smoko

In 1978, this level, with 10 level above, were the main gold and bismuth production levels. 8 level had copper workings that were mothballed, and 14 level was just being developed. Just around the corner were the emergency ladderways, ore passes and slusher drives - on this level overhead slushers fed granby cars which tipped on a ramp system over the main ore pass - there was a crusher on 15 level and ore pockets below feeding the shaft skips.
