Voel Ispri tramway 2013

The old tramway to the mill, down in the valley to the west, is easily seen from the valley below, along with the attendant iron stained adit tips of the gold mines here. I think this tramway - now referred to as "New Precipice Walk" - is one of the most fascinating and breath taking little routes I know. Snowdonia National Park have recently spent quite a bit of money in making this route 'wheelchair friendly' and erecting old tram rails along certain parts of it to prevent runaways, although, my guess is that the amount of wheelchairs trundling along here per year could be counted on one hand, or less.
