Somewhat unimpressive collapsed entrance. Mentioned by Ray Fairbairn BM 47 p 141 and John Lawson (as Tyne Boys) in BM 8 p 30, both indicate it was linked to the operation of Dosey. Based on John''s numbers the mines were active between 1853 and 1879 producing about 70 tons of lead ore, presumably the bulk of that from Dosey.
