This is the view of the "Arch Dump" as recorded by Richardson in his Sketch Plan of DGC, this dump was on top of a railway tunnel, the tunnel ran from left to right underneath the dump, the dump has now been removed to a great degree and the tunnel has been demolished. This view is from the south end of the largest dump on the DGC site. This photo was taken in the very early eighties, sorry about the quality...a scan of an old print.
