With its shallow outfall are the Strane River, this adit was presumably drives some time about the late 18th or early 19th century. It can’t be more than a fathom beneath surface for the first 100yrds: the mine must’ve been very rich to warrant the undertaking. Today nothing exists of the portal, but a large issue of water does surface from its recorded location.
