Discharging into Cowley brook a little to the east of the ruined engine house of Watt''s Shaft, the portal of this shallow sough is low and uninviting!. There used to be a sough shaft, to the south west of Watt''s shaft, through which access could be gained to this sough (with a tree trunk wedged halfway down, but could be passed with a squeeze) but I don''t know if this has been obliterated in the intervening years.
