11th August 2013 was spent cleaning up the portal of the Hen barc adit at South Cwmystwyth. The level is blocked by a fall about 7 feet inside and a trench at the top allows water backed up behind the fall to flow back into the adit rather than over the top of the parapet. It is hoped to eventually reopen the level.
