this is the site of B Winning Colliery winding house. In the mid 1970s the building was surrounded by a high wire fence. In the pic where the track bears left were the shafts. the downcast on the left and the upcast on the right.Each shaft was covered by a thick concrete slab. Today no one would guess anything was there. Concrete gone, Grassed over.
