The buildings to the right have been swept away, However the Shaft (to the right) was still used for pumping Mine water, The site still has quite a few buildings remaining to the left, The substantial wall is a rare survivor along with the water tower of the Pit Baths, which sadly the rest of the baths was demolished a number of years ago. The former mass of railway lines that was in the fore view has been removed and tarmacked over. a number of Garage workshops occupies most of the site now.
