The Phurnacite Plant (Coal Coking Works) was based at Abercwmboi, Aberdare. Since 1913 there had been such activity here until its final closure and demolition in the 1990s (The Cynon Valley) where this structure was based had been subjected to incredible environmental pollution for nigh on a hundred years
