Building to right of centre was the oil stores. Long, right angled building to the left, at the top the Cardox charging shed, further down a covered area for filling supplies tubs & carts. The round topped building between the downcast shaft & the chimney was a cable store, & the large building to the right, with the roof louvres, was the joiners shop. The gable end to the left of the headgear was a roof covering an ancient haulage engine, at the top of an incline, to the bottom yard. The roof with the rectangular skylights was the fitting shops & the square skylights was the stores. The electricians shop was directly behind the headgear. There was also a return fan house for Emley Moor, just out of shot, behind the bush to the right...
