Main entrance to the mine for explorers. Entering this tunnel reaches vertical stoping as a crosscut; watch out for the false floors. Triangular shot holes adjacent the portal suggests trial of pneumatic drills. Above this level, the stopes outcrop in the hillside but are collapsed at surface.
