This is in the 'corkscrew' winze from Maescarhyg Level down to Angred Level. The 'corkscrew' is at the top of the picture. The original mine ladder is overlain by some improvised modern rope ladder fitted possibly by some local explorers (2011). Proper and safe exploration techniques are demonstrated by the 11mm SRT static rope also seen.
