Nentsberry Haggs entrance L to R Norman Birkett, Dave Warriner (NCB men - info c/o Boy Engineer) Mike Luff, John Stott (info BE and JL - Magpie Mine warden), Robert Lawson (info c/o John Lawson), Dave Sergeant, John MacPherson, John McNeil, John Lawson JL adds "The party was off to Admiralty Flats, on High Raise Second Sun Vein. This had been laddered in the mid 1970''s by a Derbyshire Barytes Company, who also, looked at the Wellhope Shaft workings on the same Vein. Here someone, blasted a way into the workings, at the bottom of the shaft, The V.M. company never made this connection, since they were more interesting in encouraging the air to go along the horse level, rather than up the shaft. This company subsequently, operated the Scraithole mine."
