Merrivale, Great Staple Tor and the River Walkham; Context of the Merrivale Blowing Houses

Three, apparently contemporary blowing houses exist adjacent the river Walkham, North of Merrivale Bridge. No conteporary written record appears to survive of any; despite the remains being some of the best preserved in Dartmoor.
