Manvers complex late 1980s

A wide view over the Manvers complex from the west after closure and removal of the coke ovens. Manvers No.2 shaft prominent on the left. Most of what remains is the coal preparation plant. Barnburgh Colliery is somewhere in the haze behind the skip shaft headgear. The miners housing north of Doncaster Road has also been demolished.
