Looking towards the entrance of the floor 4 back vein adit. This was the adit we were looking for however due to a collapse (photo 10 and 11) no further exploration is possible. The water level was about one foot lower in here than the last time we were in this area. See Cwmorthin Slate Quarry, J G Isherwood, page 66 for the relevant map.
